Hello everyone -
I'm happy to become part of this site.

A year ago in June I fell in love with a little 6-month old Pitty named Chloe at the local ASPCA. I was raised with German Shepherds, and partial to big, fluffy dogs - I'm not sure how this Pitbull caught my eye (especially when we were hoping for a small dog - preferably a Boston Terrier) - but she did. We spent a lot of time at the SPCA with Chloe over the next week before we were willing to bring her home to meet Tate, our cat. Many people warned us about Pitbulls and their aggression towards children and other animals, their locking jaw, and their inability to truly love their owner. Fortunately, we bought several books on pitbulls and read the facts - and after a week long visit to our home to make sure she could get along with Tate, Scout (formerly Chloe) became part of our family.

Scout has made my husband, Tate, and I advocates for the Pitbull breed. I have never known a more loving and loyal dog - and we want the rest of the world to know what a great companion a pitbull can be.
