I guess he is kind of a War Dog, since he was living in a war zone.

Living in a war zone would qualify him. I think I will be covering the dogs who find people in war zones not just the working dogs.

Clint/Gimpy is from Kuwait. Tom is an American ex military who married Katrin, a German ex military. They are currently working in Kuwait as engineers trying to make a difference.
What is the criteria for a war dog?
I will send pictures of Clint to Suzi to post since I am a goober and challenged by the computer.

For my program I will be including Official Working War Dogs and Dogs of War who find soldiers and give them Love. The ones who get a chance to make it to America with their soldiers is extra special. Clint is a different kind of story that I would love to include especially since I feel some sort of connection to his story. And also since it includes Mutts and Stuff. So in my book Clint meets the criteria for a War Dog. I have you guys on facebook so I can get some pics from there too if I have permission. Unless you have some better ones that have not been posted yet. Oh and for the rest of you chip in for clints cottage muttsnstuff.chipin.com/clints-cottage

All the photos in the USA have been taken by me and you have my permission to use the photos,. The photos in Kuwait are Katrin and she would be honored to have Clint/Gimpy's photos in your book.

I'm glad Gale got on here to post because I haven't had a chance. Been a rough couple of days with very long hours at work. Clint is an awesome dog. I think we all fell in love with him instantly. He's just so soulful and sweet.

Not long at all. He is an exceptional dog with great dog skills. He is very social with humans but no cats. We are already starting to find him a home.
It was great finding out that Clint/Gimpy is a very balanced dog. It seems we normally are told wonderful things and find out the poor dog has so many issues that need to be worked through. He is awesome and will make someone a great companion

Katrin sent me his story via email. I have not gotten to read it yet however she thinks he is not what she would consider a war dog. But she also asked if I can get the word out about the working dogs that need to be sent home. Im wondering what will happen to those dogs?

Interesting. I would think that Kuwait was still a war zone

I will still talk about him I think because her husband is no longer in military may be why she said that. I am sure it is still a war zone.

Thank you!
Clint has become the ambassador at K9 Kabana who is boarding Clint/Gimpy until his cottage is done. He loves all dogs and been a blessing for several blind dogs who come for playtime. He is a very soft guide for the old blind poodle and for Orbie, another blind pit bull.
