i am liking their sams lead leashes too... leather back up leashes.....hmmmmmmmmm...... actually sadie needs her own collars as she wears rufus's leather ones lol

so i ordered sadie a collar, this one: www.karmacollars.com/products/the-victorian and ordered 2 4 ft leather back upleashes..i hope the quality of the collar and leashes are great or i will return them, i have been so spoiled by collarmanias leather collars i am having a hard time finding a collar maker that makes the same quality as she did |

i really really hope her quality is the same or better then collarmanias.. i got so spoiled with lisa's leather quality... i should have the stuff by monday. i was hoping for tomorrow or saturday so i could use the backup leashes on the hike for sunday but i doubt i will get them that quick coming from CA.
yep, her first ever leather collar lol... she wears rufus's and only has 2 martinggales a frog one and a fireworks one..

got the collar and leashes, the leashes are really nice, a little stiff, but will loosen up fast with use. the collar was really nice,but i ordered the wrong width... so i emailed them and they said they would make it a 1.50 instead of the 1.25 i ordered at no extra charge. i sent it back to them today for a new one to be made.. the collar i ordered for her was in black, the pic i posted was the brown one

....Need to get Bola a nice leather collar. The quality of these collars was good?
What width do you think I should order for Bola... 1.25 or 1.50?
I dont want it to look huge on him...

i normally use 2 inch collars on rufus and sadie, the smaller ones look weird on their necks.. honestly, the quality is good, but i prefer collarmania leather , which she no longer does, she really spoiled me with her quality. the best thing to do for Bola is try each size on him , from 1.25, 1.5 and 2 inch (most pet stores should have all 3 sizes) and see which one looks good on his neck. the smaller ones look tiny on rufus and sadie for some reason, but the 1.5 and 2 inch look better.
karma collars her leather i must say is nice and sturdy, not flimsy at all.. the collar i ordered was a one inch with a 1.25 larger leather behind it so it was more an overlay design leather. the designs on the leather were firmly attached, and it looked like it would hold up to pretty much everything...which is what i love.. i prefer solid leather collars not flimsy leather and karma's collars are sturdy (again not like collarmania but good in their own way)definitely can stand up to a bully breed. her leather back up leashes are awesome, not flimsy soft leather but thick and sturdy.. i should have the bigger collar in 10 days as she is makng a whole new one for me .

i would definitely suggest karma collars, from what i got today they are a good quality leather.. i think bola would look good with either a 1.5 or a 2 inch collar

sadies new 1.5 leather heart collar, i love love love it.. she made a whole new collar and added an extra D ring at no charge... i have 2 more collars and a leash on order with her:   it was hard to get a good shot as she wont sit still |

so i ordered a collar from Cali girls .. nice collar, single layer leather with a leather strip. its nice. well made. good quality. however, i cant stop comparing them all to collarmania.. when she did her leather collars they were totally double layer, tough, durable, didnt stretch .... every collar i have bought since she stopped making collars just cant compare:( yes the price is more, so i figure the quality should be better.. nope... i am sooo glad i got my last 6 leather collars from collarmania before she stopped making them, as i cant find anyone who does a comparable job:(.. dont get me wrong, karma collars, cali collars, and ellas lead are nice, but none of them compare to the collars i have here from collarmania.. unless i am missing something here, i just cant find someone who does the leather work that collarmania did..she did full double leather collars, really tough durable . as far as designs go, ellas lead wins hands down with all her designs - she definitely does more designs then anyone else, i love her designs.
