So I thought I would share this with you all. This is not a pit bull but is a good example of reactive dog. Happens to be my dad with his dog with at the training facility he was attending. The class was basically from the book Control Unleashed. With Trainer Kim Willson at K9playskool. His dog was chosen for this video for a service dog program and reactive dogs. She is very dog reactive. My dad was hoping she was going to be the perfect agility dog. turn down your volume because this dog is LOUD. And yes Rocky actually interacts with this dog. And if you can sit through this whole video GOD Bless ya. I found it painful to see this dog get so stressed. But Clothier knows what she is doing I guess.
Here she is now

She does look scared as anything right. My dad said for training classes she was over the top as soon as he went to get her out of the crate. Took a while to get her to calm down at the other dogs. Now apparently she is an agility superstar very focused. She no longer reacts to the dogs.

Wow! What a difference! In that first video, who were all the people? Did she know all of them?

Well the large woman standing there I know she knows that is the trainer. The guy brings her in is my dad. I will ask my dad but I think the woman who works with her at the end she does not know. I am not sure about the other people. My assumption is they are other student dogs owners. As my dad was attending a control unleashed class there. I will get back to you on that.

It is pretty amazing. I remember my dad worked real hard at it. He took her to work with him every so that he can expose her to things during lunch. Trains, people, dogs etc. knowing her threshold. took time but really worked.

According to my dad that video shows as if she is a fearful dog. Which is not her usual way. She got scared of the item falling. She is a confident dog who was reactive by being over excited to see dogs and people. And she knew almost everyone in the room. She did not know the person that she sniffed the coffee cup. and she did not know the person that got her to work at the end. the person who she entered with and did some work with is my dad.
