Has anyone ever used this in the house?
My entire state is basically a big swamp and the fleas this summer are especially bad. We have 2 cats at home with flea allergies and it's looking like Matilda does too. The cats have always been on advantage, though we are about to switch them to program, and George and Matilda are currently taking Trifexus. George has been on trifexus a year and Matilda has been on it since she was 2 months old.
We bombed the house 3-4 weeks ago. The cats do not go outside and Matilda and George only go outside for walks or for outings.
George and the other cats do not seem phased, but everyone in the house with a flea allergy seems miserable

I thought about trying it before a few years ago. I took in a stray cat who liked to go be outside during the day and inside at night. I had a hard time keeping the fleas away despite treating the animals with frontline. I eventually abolished the fleas by using flea powders in the carpet and sofa and vacuuming a lot. It has been over 2 years since I've spotted a flea in my house or on the dogs. I did buy a few bombs but I never ended up using them. I don't think it would hurt at all to use the DE in places where the animals like to lay around, and under furniture etc. You can even use it outside.

i use it in all doorways and windowsills and on the dogs as well. make sure its the food grade DE, NOT the pool grade... you can use it in carpeting, furniture, basically everywhere

We only have carpet upstairs. down stairs is this weird laminate the end pin on my cello refuses to stick to.
Do you know if it matters if it's food grade or not if it's used inside? I think i can pick some up at Lowe's but I'm not sure if it will be food grade

you MUST use food grade around the animals.. any other grade is toxic to animals. i get mine from www.wolfcreekranch.net/the one at lowes etc is pool grade- very toxic to animals and you use it only in pools. no matter what they tell you do NOT use it. it is NOT safe for animals and will kill the animals if they ingest it. only use human food grade DE
