well, during the night, i don't sleep with a sweater. and i am used to having a German shepherd , which never had a problem sleeping on the cold floor...
i think now it is better with the fleece blanket, but i want to try a nice sweater as well.

during the past last days, he comes to wake me up at 3:00 am, 4:00 an on, i don't see problem, i am only thinking about one maybe, could it be because he is cold? it is quite cold in israel these days, specialy in jerusalem. when we come home it is very hot, and he sleeps on the first level near the central heating pipe, at night he has another bed, which is a room next to mine but it is on the second floor which is much colder, and the heating is off during the night. is it possible? how can I make his bed warmer? this is one of his beds.

Hi there, As you all know me, well at least some of you, For the last 13 years I had an amazing German Shepherd, Last year I had to put him to sleep, may he rest in peace. After two months, I took my pitbull from a dog shelter, after i swore i am not getting another dog in my life... My day schedule is: 06:00 -> 07:30 : my morning daily walk with the dog, most of the time it is some off road hiking with me, some times playing with other dogs (whom i know) 07:30 -> 08:00 coming to my parents who live two streets from me, drinking coffee and leaving the dog over there. somewhere along noon - my father takes the dog out, for 45 minutes, and than they are waiting for me to arrive to take him home. Usually I arrive near 21:00, I take the dog from them, and go out for another walk with my friends (with other dogs ) I live in a big house in Israeli standards, and i also have my private yard (not big), I am also volunteer in our Israeli dog shelter. (not where i took mine). Last time I have been there i found an amazing PB girl, and the thought of getting another dog came into mind. the problems are : 1. I cant leave another dog at my parents house, they LOVE mine, but it is hard enough for my parents with one dog, and the daily walk with my (not young) father is hard enough for him as well. he said couple of times to me that taking out two dogs is too much. 2.My dog (named Bush if you recall), is very calm (besides cats and porcupines) and he is a perfect dog for me: A. he is not barking (EVER) B. he is not getting into fights. (well most of the time) C. he is not fanatic about his food, toys, or what ever, I can throw him something and if another dog runs as well, mine backs off. D. not like all pit bulls he doesn't hold ANYTHING in his mouth. i don't even think he knows how.... I am afraid that another dog with different temperament, would ruin my dog, instead of my dog teaching another dog.some more info, If I would take another dog, one of them would be while i am at work in my parents house, and one in my house, i guess in the garden. (also i am afraid someone could steal her) another small issue, as part of my job i travel abroad in time to time, i have no idea what to do then. my heart has enough love for another dog, but i am not sure my life has enough space for another one can someone advice? small reminder, mine is of the left: I would appreciate any comment, thanks Vadim S.
