funny that such a "bullet proof" dog as a PT, has a sensitive skin. i think i will stay with the baby shampoo as well. another question I have is, how the hell should i put frontline on him ? his short hair make it impossible to reach his skin, with my German Shepherd it wasn't an issue.

Couple of weeks ago I washed my beloved dog with a new shampoo I bought, It is a dog shampoo. ( I will attach photo later on), couple of hours after i washed him, his all body aroused (can i use this verb here? ), and all of his body was cover with rugged pattern of dots or something like that. I took almost a week to disappear, yesterday I used baby shampoo, looks good for now. any special recommendations ? thanks!

we have a law for dangerous dogs, but it is not enforced, my dog registrations say he is mixed, and not mixed pitbull or etc, i will fight them in court!

I will do that.
I am not saying he is a perfect angel, of course I will not let him meet an un-castrated male without my supervision, I have some friends with male gods (not ptbl, or this kind), not castrated which my dog is very calm - not playing - but not fighting with them. "neutral" which I can go for long hikes off-leash.
if he is provoked he will react instantly, but with this Amstaff since he knows him from young age - of the amstaff he has a lot of nerves for him.
but for this type of dog he is more calm than generally.

thanks for the input, it is just as i thought. about the question before, my dog is intact, and the other one is castrated. my dog has a good nature, and will never start a fight. he has no dominance on toys, water / food bowl, and he prefer to leave the toy, or anything that can cause problem, just the opposite from my old German shepherd who had to dominate everything. Bush doesnt even care if other dogs come to my house, while the german sheperd wouldnt let any one other dog enter our house. I dont want to ruin my dogs nature. thanks for the input about my photos, Bush loves them as well. here are two more. they were taken last week in a place called the "Dead Sea" which I guess you all heard of. any more comments ?

My idiot - while catching twice porcupines, and sorry to say, once a cat. he leaves it from the seconds it is dead. and is not interested in it anymore.
my old German shepherd RIP, once caught a rabbit, and trying to eat it.

I know the play rough, I don't care them running like crazy, hitting each other in amazing speeds, or banging walls while doing it. But i can quite sure that he is testing his power. and for now is not afraid to get into a fight. btw - can you please explain this? "is the other dog intact? is your dog intact? intact dogs can scuffle more then neutered as well." I didn't get that part

You are quite right - I always carry my camera with me, but lately I didnt had the change to shoot them both, but I can easily explain how does it looks. when we meet, the amstaff runns directly to my dogs face licking him or small biting him, my dog sometimes runs away and than they start chasing games, but sometimes he just brings his head down to the floor, almost lying down, in other words saying leave me alone. then since my dog isnt playing with him, he becomes more agressive and the licking and the small bites becomes stonger, until it hurts. then mine starts reacing - and i can see that it is just what he is waiting for. btw - here a lovely photo from last week but alone.

Started to check his power on my dog. As you already know, my dog "Bush" has a male friend named "Meisy", they know each other since the day I brought my dog from a shelter. my dog was about 2 years old (we think so) and the Amstaff was about 10 months. this is both of them: you can see clearly that the Amstaff is growing, and becoming more realized to his power, lately he started "testing" his power on my dog. (mine is non agressive, and wont easily fight specially with castrated male) It started with the fact the everything my dog has in his mouth, he want to take it. and 99.5% he usually does, lucky for me, mine isnt "jealous"for things, so when he comes he just leaves it. (I guess this helps the amstaff to realize his power). it doesnt matter if he already has something in his mouth, if my dog will get something else he will leave it, and will take what mine has. (my german sheperd would never leave something from his mouth not like Bush) yesterday, while "playing" I can see clearly and I showed the Amstaff owner that he is trying hard to get my dog reacton. he is "small biting"my dog in his face, and my dog isnt reacting, but when he made him pain, my dog reacted (not in agression but in "leave me"style) you can see that the amstaff loving it, proviking it, and want a fight to start. in better days: any suggestions? since i can see a fight coming quite soon. thanks for the help.

sorry it took me a while to answer. my friend has an Amstaff - male, which is the best friend of my dog. The Amstaff, is about 1.5 old, castrated from the age of 6 months. (mine isnt) there are playing everyday for at least half an hour of running. we have an non friendly Boxer female, 7 years old. she is always attacking each one of them, even when they are alone, but usually she only "shows" like, and never really attacks. we were walking the dogs, and we saw her, they werent fighting, but then the Amstaff, took - i guess something that the Boxer "owned" i guess a stone, or a stick, the boxer is very "item jealous", so she attacked him. he never fights, and never had a fight before. as soon as my dog heard the noise - after 2 seconds, the boxer was in Bush's mouth... and i took some time to open his mouth. 1. Stupid PPL letting their aggressive dogs walk off leash. 2. Male can fight with Female, if the circumstances right. 3. It is as hard as ppl say, it is not easy to open their mouth. this is Bush and Meysi

influences...
Two days ago we had a dog bite in Israel, A German Sheperd attacked a two year old boy while he entered the yard.
one of the "news" web site, wrote the article down, and attached a photo, guess of what kind of breed?
you are correct a Pit/Amstaff - or something else with a huge jaw. in the comments below the photo they added: "in the photo: A DOG "
we wrote to the site and they removed the photo.
amazing.
