Dharma is out of surgery and awake. Going to pick her up in a few. I'll post pathology results when I get them.

Dropped her off a couple hours ago, so we're just waiting. I'll update later. Please think good thoughts for my poor little muffin face.

Had the lump rechecked today and, as expected, there were mast cells. So.... it gets removed Monday. Ugh! I forgot at the appointment today, but Monday I will talk to him about the palladia.

Not so good news at her checkup today... we found a new lump on her right rear leg, where she's had a cluster of mast cell growths in the past. Vet felt it was too small to aspirate, so we're keeping an eye on it for now.

Pathology came back clean. No cancer cells. She goes in for a checkup on Friday.

Thanks ME, she seems to be doing ok. She's actually a lot more antsy and active than I expected her to be after only a couple days. The incision is looking good and so far the bruising doesn't look too bad. We're monitoring her breathing and heart rate as well as we can at home, since arrhythmia is a risk. I'll post biopsy results when I get them. The vet couldn't see any evidence of tumors on the spleen, but we sent it for testing to be sure.

Thanks ladies. I'm doing a half day at work, then going home to relieve my husband on Dharmawatch and take a nap!
