Between the road trip and the fish food, it's probably just too much for him. He probably just wants to chill in his own space right now. He's still eating, drinking, and pooping so he's probably fine. If he starts puking or has any other symptoms then I'd be concerned. Hope he's back to himself in the next couple days.

Ha! Yeah, Dharma started running for the bedroom rather than her crate a few years ago. Like ME said, you didn't break her, she just finally smartened up. And I hear you on the one on one time. It really never can be enough. Glad to hear Sedona is healthy and everyone has relaxed a little.

LOL too funny! Dharma and Otis always have to be touching each other or us. In our laps on the couch, on our heads in bed. If we leave the bathroom door open, Otis will try to sit on your feet while you're in there! Weirdos!

Beginning of the snowy months, when we look at pictures like these and think "how beautiful!" By January the magic is gone LOL!

OMG that is so scary. Thank goodness you called and caught it. I hate it when I have a feeling that something's "not right" and then second guess myself for being too paranoid.

Been thinking about you guys. It's hard to feel so powerless. We love our dogs so much, and they have these awful illnesses, and you do everything you can... and you are still powerless. All we can do is love them and fill their lives with comfort and fun and joy while we have them. Big hugs to you and the Chubbster.

Freaking. Adorable. And yes, Otis would love them. The other dogs not so much.

Sugar I'm so so sorry. Like Michele and ME said, just try to be in the moment and take it one day at a time. It's so hard, I know. Please give Chubbs a cuddle and a kiss from me.

Interesting. Some people are just always going to have a disconnect between what they "feel" to be true and what is presented to them as fact. She probably feels that Sedona is just an exception, but that all other pit bulls must be dangerous because of what happened to her sister. Fear is not rational. Fear does not always disappear in the face of facts.
And yeah, there are a lot of incredibly ignorant vets AND people doctors too, for that matter.
