I found a place! I'm super excited! I'll be living with two roommates who are friends of a friend and seem very nice. It's a two floor apartment/house. One and a half bath with a claw foot in the full bath, three bedroom, two large living rooms and a dining room, tons of storage, super dog friendly, and internet included. It's only going to be $400 a month plus utilities which will never be more than $150, even in winter! I'm PUMPED!! I'll probably still be spending a good amount of time at my coworker/boyfriend's place, but it will be nice to have a place to call my own, keep my stuff and be in Portland for when I have to work early (I'm currently a 20 minute drive from the city, but will be a six minute drive from work once I move into my new place).

Pretty sure I just sold our acreage out in western WV! We didn't much on it, but just having that cash back in our account will be a big help come moving time! Phew!

Cat: Not to sounds like too much of a 'mom', but you just got out of a very long term relationship so please enjoy your own place and the new freedom. Its really easy to jump right into something that feels nice but its also really important to give yourself a chance to develop as an individual (as oppose to as part of a couple). Enjoy dating the cute coworker ( ) but remember to enjoy your own personal time too. Allison: Thats awesome, a little money in the bank can do wonders for sleeping at night! lol

I understand and agree to an extent, but I also don't want to miss out on what could be a great thing because the timing is less than ideal.

I was going to suggest the same thing, Cat. Kaleena and I are old married ladies; this means we are buzz kills by nature.
The other day marked my 10 year dating anniversary with Jim. It's ridiculous that I've been with this lovable nerd for 10 years! Lots has changed since we were 17. What silly young whippersnappers we were...

Thats great you found a place cat! My only advise for the dating end is this- never eat where you shit- its never good to date a co worker only cause if things dont work out you have to look at each other every day.

I understand and agree to an extent, but I also don't want to miss out on what could be a great thing because the timing is less than ideal. I'm not saying don't enjoy dating this sweet guy (and he better be sweet if he's dating you!! lol), what I was saying was just make sure to remember to take time for yourself and your friends and your own hobbies/stuff. I know its easy to get caught up in a romance because that is super fun (ahh...the whirlwind days, lol) but you can date someone and still stand on your own two feet. I only say this because I have so many friends that have gone from relationship to relationship (not because of any bad reasons, its just how it would work out) and only later on in life do they wish they had spent more time being on their own and learning what they were really capable of as individuals. And Allison, I was about to correct you on me being an old married lady but...you know...can't fight the damn truth

I'm not going to stop dating Colin because we're coworkers. Nope. Notgunnahappen! I get it, I understand why people wouldn't want to date someone they work with, but I'm not going to give up on something awesome because we're coworkers. It was very important for me to find my own place, though, which is why I kept looking so hard for a place.

I understand. I really do. It may end up being a mistake, who knows. I do know that I'm happy right now and I'm enjoying myself for the first time in a long time.

Skunk 1 rufus 0....
Today rufus decided eww de skunk was better to wear then to not wear.... Skunk fought back = puncture wounds in rufus's nose and under chin .... Vet visit which included booster rabies, antibiotics and tramadol for the puncture holes , $153.00 total, , baths, and one angry momma.....most dogs when sprayed give up.... Not this boy... He proceeded to bite said skunk get sprayed again get bit over and over and repeated the process 3 mire times...... Now thankfully i am sick as i can only half smell the nauseating eww de skunk... Tons of candles burning, carpet fresh put down, vinegar in bowls around house and the smell is not as bad..... Next bath scheduled for 730 lol..
Skunk was huge i never saw one that big, as rufus is flinging it around yelping as its biting him back skunk is spraying all over lol we treated house, under deck where it took place and hopefully got most of it, new bath tip is baking soda peroxide and dawn detergent everyone keeps telling me it works awesome so we will see
