Oh dear. I wish you lots of patience and as a gift I give you the huge bottle of tomato juice that we just got. Sucks about the vet visit. Maxine cornered a squirrel today out in the yard. Luckily she just sniffed it until the squirrel could get enough footing (and its heart beat back to normal I think) to escape up the fence. Otherwise our pups may have been sharing sympathy at the vet. Best of luck to you!

omg Rufus! Glad he's ok, but damn! We may have to take up a hat to purchase you some scentsy bars or something. lol Years ago when I lived near Lake Tahoe, we had a family of skunks who lived in the woods behind our apartment. It sucked so bad to be watching tv in the evening only to be chased from your home due to the eye watering stench.

Cat, I will admit that I am the queen of failed relationships. I've been married twice, and neither lasted until our first wedding anniversary. I know all about going from one relationship to another, rebounding, taking breaks, and just about everything everyone else posted. I know I hated been there done that advice, and usually blew it off and did whatever the hell I wanted to do in the first place. But! My only suggestion is to think of the 'what ifs'. Be sure you know how YOU will deal, and what you'll do if things don't work out. But most of all, you are the most important person in your life, so put yourself first. I don't mean you need to be selfish. But put your health, safety, happiness, and basic needs first. (and since Saxon is your fur baby, he's included in being first.)Don't ever be afraid to hurt someones feelings, or walk away, if the (any) situation doesn't feel right to you...

Many years ago, at my old job, when I was in training in another state, first the trainer said you need to up your auto insurance to THIS so I called and did. Then the next day, she said oops, that doesn't apply to you and I had to call and change it.
That job was miserable and I just did a total career change and just passed the state adjuster license and am training for a new job. I'm working for a non standard insurance company and our trainer told us to look at our policies to see how they differed from non standard and I noticed they had me at a business auto policy when I literally drive 5 minutes to work every day, so I called and my premium went down.
I've owned 2 dogs on the no no list. I own a condo so everything outside is covered by my HOA so I just called and ASKED if they would cover contents with a pit bull.
State farm said they don't care what breed dog it is as long as they have never bitten anyone before. We are still working with Matilda on being mouthy, including my entire arm, and George put a hole in my leg a few weeks ago

Pottsville...where my family is from. The new home is 1.5 miles to my brother's house and 3 miles to my mom's. We are shooting for an April moving date.
