Saw Rango, thought it was ok (guess I was expecting more). Going to see Paul next weekend, (I think Christina saw it and liked it) and really excited for Insidious! That one looks creepy as heck!
Also rented In the Mouth of Madness and really liked it!

Watched The Switch last night. I especially loved it because they talked about shelter animals a little bit. Yes it was in a semi-joking manner, but it's in there. I really loved the end and that kid is way cool.

I loved Paul! I'm a huge Simon Pegg and Nick Frost fan, though, so I may be a bit biassed. Just to warn you, if you saw Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, Paul has a lot more American humor than British humour. I did still laughed a lot and find it enjoyable. There were a lot of great references to old SciFi movies and UFO/Alien culture. So if you like that kind of stuff, you should like this movie!
I wanted to see Rango, too, but we couldn't really afford more than one movie and Paul is one we've wanted to see for months. So we'll see Rango an other time. I won't expect much that way I can be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed!
Haven't heard of Insidious (I don't have cable so I miss out on a lot of previews), I'll have to look that one up!

Insidious Trailer Also, huge Simon Pegg & Nick Frost fan (loved their movies and their show, Spaced!) Very excited for that one. Rango isn't bad per say, I enjoyed it but I guess with all the hype I kinda expected more. Did love the Mexican mariachi birds though, lol.

Insidious looks great, can't wait for that one. I watched 127 Hours and thought it was really good, totally enjoyed it. Also watched Sanctum - what a pile of CRAP that movie was. Worst movie I have seen in a LONG time.
In the Mouth of Madness is one of my fave movies, totally awesome. Sam Neil rules. Also watch Event Horizon if you haven't seen it.

Oooh, that looks scary! I'd like to see that one! I can't believe you are a Spaced fan! No one ever knows what Spaced is when I talk about it! I think you'll like Paul, then!

Not sure if anybody wants to discuss older movies but anybody here besides myself a fan of Silence of the Lambs? I really enjoy that movie and watch it constantly; Hopkins truly had me trembling underneath my bed when I was younger!
Then there's Pan's Labyrinth. I had to pay close attention to the movie since I cannot speak Spanish and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The ending was very nice in my opinion. <3

I never can decide my favorite movie. My current "favorite" is Repo! The Genetic Opera and Boys Don't Cry. The first one because I love the music, plot, and Anthony Head while the latter I love because of how much I can relate to it. Plus, it made me cry at the end.

What's Bowie's Labyrinth about? It's an 80's Jim Henson movie starring David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly: www.imdb.com/title/tt0091369/ It's pretty magical... and slightly disturbing!!

Who's your favorite character in Repo? Mine is Nathan. I just feel for the character, which may seem odd, considering he's a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde figure.
I saw Paul this weekend. While it isn't exactly my "type" of humor, it managed to get a few chuckles from me. In my eyes it was an ET for adults with suggestive humor mixed in. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie! It was worth it considering we had to pick it on a two second time limit (we missed the Red Riding Hood one or whatever it is called).

My fave is Nathan, too. I like the contrasting personality traits.

Fav movie in general has to Rocky Horror Picture Show (I can recite every line as they happen, including all songs and hand gestures, lol. Its sick how many times I've seen it!).
Love Bowie in Labyrinth! Thank you super tight pants, lol.
Pan's Labyrinth is just tragically beautiful.
If you are looking for a WTF thriller-ish movie, you should see TimeCrimes (its a spanish movie with English subtitles, but I warn you. Pay full attention!! Also, if you can rent the DVD, I highly recommend the short film on the disc as well!)

Just got back from Battle Los Angeles. It was pretty good. Very action packed, you don't get a break for more then a minute! Had a couple of scary parts. It was a pretty interesting movie and I guess I enjoyed it. Probably won't see it again till DVD, though.
