Ok, I get that they're trying to educate and I do think it's a pretty good infographic, but I just can't get past them saying "there's no such breed as a pit bull" PARTICULARLY within the context of presenting myths and facts. And yes, the 'Pit Bull the rapper' thing is pretty funny.

= a Pit Bull that is 57 pounds? Sigh I'd be interested to know what they think a full size pit is. Brandy has a big ol' butt and is still only in the 52-56lb range. She ain't pocket nothing!

^ Me too. Really fascinating and really disturbing. I'm a huge Herzog fan. Cave of Forgotten Dreams is amazing. One of my favorite documentaries ever.

I have to relate a story about the top photo. Sedona has a way of getting my attention that is really comical. Notice the blurry tail? That's how it starts. She stares at me wagging her tail. If that fails, she whines a tiny little whine and jerks her body. If that also fails, she growls real quiet-like and paws the sofa once. When that fails, too, I have to cover up because she will launch herself full force onto me. That picture was taken post growl/pre-launch. ;D I want video! Dharma does a version of that, too. She starts with frantic wagging, then proceeds to violent hopping/flailing, then she just flings herself at you. And she's snorting/growling/whining the whole time. Weirdos.

Back from San Francisco and all the dogs are in one piece. Our friend did a great job and I think they may have behaved better for him than they do for us. Only incident was Brandy deciding to rub herself in a pile of rabbit turds in the yard, so he had to give her a bath. I felt really bad about that. We had a great trip, drank a lot of really really good beer, and I'm glad we went!

On another note.... Brook and I are going to San Francisco next week for a thing with my family. We've never both left the dogs. In 10 years, we have never taken a vacation together. I always go visit my parents by myself. Last year we were both planning on going to my brother's wedding in California, but a week before we were supposed to go, Barley had his first seizure and so Brook stayed home because we had no idea what was wrong with him. So I'm freaking out a little now that we're leaving next week. A good friend that we trust will be staying at the house for the 3 days we'll be gone, but I am having actual nightmares about Lebowski getting loose and tearing out Otis' throat. In my dream, I'm tying clothes around Otis' neck trying to stop him from bleeding to death. Suzi sorry I missed this before. Not sure if you left yet or not…..just checking in. I totally understand how you feel as I am the same way! Sure everything will be ok. Thanks Michele! We leave very early tomorrow morning. Trying not to freak out. I'm leaving very detailed instructions and making the house sitter vow to never deviate from the rules. I don't care if I sound like a crazy person, we all know how sneaky our dogs can be.

" Asset Valuation and Investment Income Recognition: GAAP requires the Company's bonds and notes to be classified as either held to maturity (HTM) or available for sale (AFS), whereas for statutory accounting, no such classification is required." I'm at work too.
