So sad. I was worried that it was cancer when I saw he was having seizures. That was Barley's first symptom. Not fair that our beloved friends are taken from us too soon.

Sweet jeebus on a pogo stick. Tonight was the first night of the Cross Fit class I signed up for. I have no words to adequately describe the excruciating misery and simultaneous euphoria that I experienced. Talk about agony and ecstasy. My body is jelly. I have no idea how I am able to move my fingers to even type this right now. Most important lesson learned: two hours is NOT, in fact, enough time between eating dinner and doing Cross Fit. Fortunately, I was able to make it through the class and the 5 minute drive home before puking my guts out. I am not kidding. Gonna do it all over again on Wednesday. I can't wait! And no, that's actually not sarcastic.

Yes, absolutely start with strict NILF. Andrew is resource guarding you and the behavior will only get worse. Zero tolerance. Just remember not to "punish" growling. The important thing is to set him up for success by not putting him in situations where he is likely to guard or growl.

Dharma and Otis both try to eat poop sometimes. Dharma will only try to eat her own, but Otis will hunt the yard for it. That's why we scoop as soon as they poop. Never have been able to link it to anything other than they are both vile and disgusting.

That's great news!!! Maybe the vet office can help you with finding him a home while he recuperates with you?

Gone Girl was really good!
I'm reading the newest release in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. It's a mystery series, but with faeries. Not cute faeries, crazy scary mean ones. It's really really well written and will keep you reading all night to find out what happens.

I was thinking that we've (myself included) been pretty sparse around here with new pics of our pups. What if the only theme is that the picture has to be taken within the last 30 days. Honor system of course. I just selfishly want to see newer pics of everybody's dogs, LOL!

I don't fit any of the dog person characteristics and I have never had a cat. Maybe you are just a capybara person? Yes!

I oppose the cruelty of testing on animals by forcing them to listen to hours of AC/DC and Motley Crue. That's just mean.

Really crappy day, but cuddling the pups has improved my mood. I love that Brandy can be totally asleep, but if I look in her direction the very tip of her tail starts flicking furiously and she wakes up and launches herself at me. I think she's the most affectionate dog we've ever had.
