I've got a 6 month old puppy and my grandfather/babysitter is allergic to dogs. We've been able to keep his allergic reactions in check for the most part so far but I think more frequent baths would help. I'm thinking about 2 or 3 times a month instead of once a month.
I want to keep his coat and skin healthy and moisturized so any suggestions would be great. Also, if you could give me some info on why you think x product is the best would helpful as well.
Thanks!!!

Hey there! I'm no expert by any means but I'll try to help as much as I can. First off, how much space does she have in her crate? I've found that lessening the amount of space makes it uncomfortable for them to poop where they will have to lay.

Wow, that's great for the Sheba. It's interesting to see the difference in the wording of the last article compared to the other two.

Am I the only one that loves seeing things like this. Especially when it's done right.

What type of resources? In my free time I wouldn't mind doing some research for you. Are you still looking for land if so, how much?

I kinda found it funny myself except for the vase which looks heavy. There are a few of him in some cute clothes which gives you an idea of how he looks when not balancing things.

I'm not looking at Dogo's anymore. Turns out they're very hard to find around here. lol
However from what everyone is telling me no matter what I won't have a leg to stand on. If someone from the insurance company peeks through my window and thinks what they see a Pit Bull I'm up a creek either way.
I'm looking at mutt right now he's young so they're not sure what he is. They think his dad was a black lab and mom maybe a boxer. We'll see as he grows up.

I've spoken to the landlord verbally, I'm working on getting something in writing however I'm doubtful that'll happen because it's coming from his insurance company. After speaking with my wife, we decided not to go with the pup from NC for all the reasons talked about above. I've been speaking to few different rescues up here to see what they have available. Once again, you guys rock and have helped me greatly. I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future and I know you guys/gals won't steer me wrong. BTW does anyone have any dog supplies that they don't use anymore? I'd gladly pay for them, I'm sure I'll find something soon and I want to be prepared when I do.
Thanks!

Anytime, I hope it helps Mary. I was in a similar situation as you when I had to find a place before my daughter came home. We moved into our place on March 1st and Jazlyn came home on March 8th. We were just in time. Don't worry you'll find something. Please speak to Gil about owning also, what everyone is saying about that is true. For a little more than your rent deposit you can put a down payment on a new home. I didn't find that out until afterwards plus I didn't have enough time but it can turn out to be more affordable to own than rent.
If there is anything I can help with please, let me know.

Good points everyone. I emailed them to see what they can do about me meeting the dog. We'll see what they say.

Yeah, I think the biggest thing for me is the chemistry. I feel a little awkward not meeting the pup first. The dog is only 8 weeks old and that doesn't include neutering so that's why I feel it's a little steep. Plus the shelter that the dog is coming from is in NC, I find it hard to believe the going rate for adopting a dog down there would be ~$250.

Is anyone familiar with this rescue? www.crossedpawsrescue.com/They're advertising dogs for this rescue. scotlandhumane.org/The adoption fee is $250 and transportation fee is $175 by Howl on Wheels Transport. To me that's a little steep. Am I the only one who thinks that a total of $425 to adopt a dog is a bit much? Also, because they don't have a way for you to meet the dog before to adopt it.
