And give a description to your local animal control officer-sometimes they're not in the shelters, they might be located in town hall or elsewhere. Animal control takes found pets to shelters if your town and/or county has one. The police departments in surrounding towns need a description and phone number too. They usually operate separate from other departments but get the most calls about lost dogs. They're also usually the first ones to see wandering or dead animals.

Prayers go out to the VT folks and everyone else who be needin' them...think they finally lifted our boil water alert. If your water comes from the Millburn site it's okay...meanwhile there are still how many gajillion people without power? , if I lived in Little Falls I think I'd gather sentimental value and just abandon the house ...for real, when we get a cloud burst they flood.

I'm sorry you're going through all that Brook. All the stress, all the loss, all the frustration. Don't be hard on yourself about crying. It's good to get it out. I've heard it said that crying is healthy. It means were getting those pent up feelings washed out. The people who hold it all in are the ones who really go over the edge. You've got alot of responsibility but you're doing everything you're supposed to. Just when you get situated you have to work on getting independent from living with your Mom. That's a situation that doesn't sound so healthy more than very short term. But she is your Mom and will always be. But you want to keep her problems at enough distance they don't affect you or your daughter. You didn't say how old Lexi is but you have to be good to yourself while you're reconnecting with her too. The younger she is, the easier it will be to get your relationship put back together. If she's over twelve it might take some counseling together to help things along. Take a deep breath and hug the doggies, you're gonna be okay

wow I hadn't heard of alot of these breeds. If these guys were on Petffinder-the Boerboel, the Toso looks like a ripped Ophie...nice! And that APBT and bulldog both!!!!!! One comment-wolf hybrids are absolutely too mad dangerous to own but that picture makes them look stunning anyway...

You don't see headlines that mention "The family's five beagles are being held as suspects in the case". Think the hubby or some human was involved here.

Oinks, Francois and Shmeaty gotta keep them on a future name list A dorable I forgot the kittz- Sushi is also known as Mr. Foot and the Foot. Have to post some pictures of him doing the pose. When we got Ophie, Sushi was the one hold out cat who was not going to have a dog in his house. He hid upstairs for a month and jumped at her one day. He left claws in her forehead and fractured a back foot in the process. Since then he sleeps with her and has tried to be romantic with her...weird cat...but he relaxes with his back foot pushed out to the front or just hangin' and it's so cute...Da Foot Stumpy started out with the lovely name Julie and then grew into an immense Jack Russell in a cat suit...with a bobbed tail " They call me Stumpeahh!!!!!" The other cats are just the kitz

Oooh so many cute variations for the Chubster, I love it! Grumbles is cute, could use that for Chii the cat Ophie is interchangable with Pookins. The kids call her Sophie. If I've called her for the third time with no response it becomes Stooopid and she appears tail wagging...
