Ok now you got me searching for a good snipy snout shot. Rocky also has similar snout.

And I just could not resist putting up his pit bull puppy at the shelter photo. The day our eyes first met. The day I could not resist adopting dog despite the shelters response to I would like a young dog with short hair. The answer you dont have much choice they are mostly Pit Bulls. 500 dogs and 2 under the age of two were other than pit bull mix the rest I was told were pit bull.
mix? I still have not figured out what it is.

I let his adoption day celebration pass without celebrating or sharing puppy photos this year. So I shall do a puppy photo thread of my Rocky boy.

He even has the cute little freckles like she does. Scout is an absolute LOVE! Hope to have pitbulls for the rest of our lives!!

my female is 4 yrs and 55lbs everyone argues that she is to small to be a pitbull, pits are bigger they say... i reply she fits breed standards to the T... i have a 7mnth old male who is 60lbs and just a tank.. i think he may be a bully pit?... my female is slender and extremely agile and fast and strong, she is an apbt, my male is a bit diff, prolly has bulldog somewhere along his lines

Is there anything about him other than his weight that makes you think he has bulldog in his lineage? Where did you get him? There is no such thing as a "bully pit." Are you referring to the "American Bully?" It is basically a designer breed created from mixing Mastiffs, English Bulldogs and a few other big stocky breeds with APBTs. They are about the same height as Pit Bulls, sometimes even shorter, but can weigh upwards of 100lbs. They look like English Bulldogs with Mastiff heads or super overweight Staffordshire Bull Terriers with cropped ears and bow legs:

My current pit bull Demon Shadow is 4 months old and weighs 29 pounds or did about two weeks ago when we took her in for her shots. The first pit I owned was 10 years old when I got him and was 92 pounds. When he died at the age of 14 of cancer he was 112 pounds but was not fat at all. He was tall and leggy but muscular and very agile and strong. He was a beautiful red brindle and very sweet, he was what got me into the love of the breed. Demon is a black brindle girl and is not short at all not real tall either. I will have to get her measured but she is beautiful and I love her to pieces. She us so different from the last pits I had but even with the background she came from I still wouldnt trade her off.
